Feature request: detect when WAM is plugged into the wrong CAN port, or into the serial port instead

This is a common issue coming up in customer support. The solution could be as simple as a user-readable error message telling the user to check which port they are plugged into. We could also try to detect which CAN port they're plugged into and automatically use that one.
